The 5-Step Process To Design, Build, And Deliver Your Dream Home
Consultation
Some builders use the term ‘consultation’ to disguise their sales presentation (often delivered by a commission salesperson).
Others waste your time with generic information you can easily find online. And most use incomplete pricing that leaves you disappointed when you find out the real price is tens of thousands more.
We take time to understand your vision, offer helpful advice from our 20+ years of experience, and talk openly and honestly about our all-inclusive pricing so you know where you stand from the start.
Planning and Design
Most builders merely offer you a catalogue of generic designs to choose from. And even those who claim to be custom builders try to modify generic designs, forcing you to compromise on details you end up regretting.
We take time to help you clarify and refine the vision you have for your home. And we thoughtfully design every detail to enhance your family’s personality and lifestyle. This includes a complete site assessment by our designer so we can optimise your design for your land. And concept plans we refine together until everything is perfect. The end result is a house that feels like home because it was designed and built just for you.
Contract and Approvals
While most builders rush you into signing an incomplete contract, we take time to document every detail so you know precisely what you’re getting and exactly what it will cost (with no surprises). We’ll help you with all your selections (again, there is no rush – we’ll send you 360-degree videos of our homes, and even take you to recent projects for ideas and inspiration).
We’ll arrange all approvals (including bushfire, flood, and engineering). And when you’re ready, we’ll give you a building schedule with guaranteed start and finish times.
Construction
Now you get to watch your vision come to life starting with site preparation (which is easy and efficient with our own machinery). Then footings and slab. And then we build the frame – the skeleton of your home.
Next, we add your roof, external cladding, windows, and doors (your home is really taking shape). We move inside for rough wiring and plumbing before we line the walls and ceiling. Now it’s time for tiling, waterproofing, cabinetry, flooring and final electrical and plumbing. Every step is completed with meticulous attention to detail by expert tradespeople and supervised by our exceptional leading hand.
Handover
Before we give you the keys, we (staff, supervisor, and owner) triple-check your home to ensure every detail is perfect (and spotlessly clean). Then we go through every detail again with you (every door, drawer, cupboard, tap, and light switch) to ensure your total satisfaction. We provide you with an Operational Manual (including all warranties) and explain how everything works.
And we give you the keys to enjoy your new home. But that’s not nearly the end. We return again after 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months to fine tune things that need adjusting. And we continue to support you for 24 months to ensure your home remains perfect.
